Beaumont Hamel

So yes, on the Beaumont Hamel site, there are three cemetaries. Sounds morbid, I know. Actually,they are really quite beautiful and peaceful.















Voila le Caribou! Here is the Caribou from the site of Beaumont Hamel - where I work... There are six in the world: 4 in France, 1 in Belgium and one in St. John's, NL... they are all dedicated to the memory of the Newfoundland Soldiers that died in WWI.














So yeah, this is essentially what I do all day - add in a battlefield, some trenches and this is it! I give tours, answer questions, look pretty, etc.
